Asian Kung Fu Generation

AKG is a band that has strong Western music influences. Their favourites include Weezer, Manic Street Preachers and Smashing Pumpkins. Asian Kung Fu Generation's own music is punk rock and they have even made a record entirely in English.

Masafumi Gotou (vocals, guitar), Ijichi Kiyoshi (drums), Takahiro Yamada (vocals, bass) and Kensuke Kita (vocals, guitar) have also had two of their songs in an anime series, Haruka Kanata was the theme song of Naruto and Rewrite was in Full Metal Alchemist.

Their albums include Kimi Tsunagi Five M (2003), Sol-Fa (2004) and Fanclub (2006).
