Sentenced

The 16-year history of Sentenced, a heavy metal band from Oulu, Finland, is a rough one. It started from the practice of a death metal-band in the late 1980's, took a turn to something more melodic, saw both line-up changes and some pretty hot metal albums, not to mention gigs all over the world, but committed a band suicide in the autumn of 2005.

Sentenced has been sent to rest, long live Sentenced! The band was Ville Laihiala (vocals), Miika Tenkula (guitar), Sami Lopakka (guitar), Vesa Ranta (drums) and Sami Kukkohovi (bass).
