Stratovarius
Stratovarius is one of those bands that have come a long way. In the beginning of the eighties it begun as
a Black Sabbath-type heavy band, but along the years numerous line-up changes moulded it to the melodic
metal band we know from today. Every new band member brought something new and interesting to the music.
It's probably the crises that Stratovarius has had to overcome that have made it such a rock hard,
hysterically loved heavy band.
The line-up of today is Timo Tolkki (guitar), Jens Johansson (keyboards),
Lauri Porra (bass), Timo Kotipelto (vocals) and Jörg Michael (drums).
